Thursday, 9:20pm. The Car Park Sessions. A question nobody wants to ask first.
Jide wrote ORAL SEX on the whiteboard. The car park went very quiet. Several men suddenly became fascinated by their shoes.
"Nobody taught us," said Obinna finally. "We just guessed. Or copied things from videos."
"And some of us grew up being told it was dirty," said Chuka. "Or that men should not do it."
Then Kayode, the tall sound engineer, spoke up. "Can I share something? Bisola told me I got a lot better when I started treating it like my job."
"Your job?" asked Dapo.
"I am a sound engineer. My whole job is listening. Small adjustments. Paying attention to tiny changes. Not changing things when they are working. I realised oral sex is exactly the same. Listen. Adjust. Keep what works."
The car park stared at him. Then Chidi slowly wrote LISTEN LIKE A SOUND ENGINEER on his hand.
