"Before anyone laughs," said Ade, holding up the jar, "I know. I know about the motorbike pills. I have learned. That is why I am asking first this time."
Jide took the jar and read the label. "MANPOWER XXL. 'Add three inches in thirty days.' No ingredients listed."
"The woman at the market said her brother used it."
"Did she show you her brother?"
Ade paused. "No."
The car park laughed, but gently. Because under the laughter, a lot of men were leaning forward. Everyone wanted to know the same thing.
"Ade," said Jide. "Why do you want it?"
Ade looked at the tarmac. "Because I think I am small. I have always thought it. Since school. Since the changing rooms."
