Thursday, 10:15pm. The car park is empty. Kelechi helps Jide pack up the whiteboard. Then he stops.
"Can I tell you something?" Kelechi said, holding the whiteboard at an awkward angle. "My friends think I have had sex. I told them I had. Two years ago. But I have not. And now I am twenty-two and I feel like the only one."
Jide put down the marker. "You are not the only one. Not even close."
"Everyone at uni talks like they do it every weekend."
"Everyone at uni is exaggerating," said Jide. "Researchers have found that young people consistently overestimate how much sex their friends are having. Kelechi let out a breath he seemed to have been holding for two years.
