From chapter 1, "Chidi's Confession". Every guide is written like a story, with real research behind it.
Thursday, 9:15pm. The car park after football. Chidi raises his hand. For once, not to take notes.
Chidi was the youngest regular at the men's meeting after Tobi: a 27-year-old graphic designer with round glasses, the famous "still on shift" hand notes, and a girlfriend, Adaora, he had been with for three years.
"Can I say something that might be weird?" he asked.
The car park nodded.
"Everyone always talks about men wanting sex more. Wives who say no. But in my relationship... it is me. Adaora wants sex most days. I want it maybe once a week. And every time I say no, she thinks I do not find her attractive. And I feel like less of a man. Because men are supposed to always want it."
Nobody laughed. Dapo put down his malt drink. Obinna nodded slowly. Even Tobi, the teenager, looked thoughtful.
"Chidi," Jide said finally. "Thank you for saying that. I think you just helped half this car park."
